It's getting serious now
After the spring break there was no more rest for the weary! But every now and then we have been able to celebrate one of many stages of our huge moving project with a deep breath, before carrying on with the next step. The first job was to ship a total of 0.4 cubic meters of our earthly goods. I drove to the next canton to the southwest with a metal trunk and two large boxes, to deliver them to the Evangelical Brethren headquarters, to be sent by them in a container to PNG. Packing these items required the first of many decisions (What to dispose of? What to give away? What to take to PNG? What to take to Michi and Tömes new apartment for them to use? What to store somewhere?). Not a job for the faint of heart! However, we were happy to pay the Brethren office the equivalent of only about $80 for the shipping costs :-).
