Friends' House Fire, Update 2

Since April 6 our friend is off the sedatives, and he is breathing on his own! Slowly the wounds are healing; but it is a painful progress. Always again he is running a fever. - Apart from the danger of infection there is always the possibility of malaria or some other tropical disease.

He gets daily physiotherapy and is able to move his hands and fingers a little bit. The doctors believe that in time his body will fully heal, and eventually he will get back the complete control over his body! Praise God! But to get there a lot of patience and perseverance is needed! Thank you for keeping him and his family in your prayers.

Tomorrow the two sons who are living with friends here get to spend the weekend – the younger one even longer – in Brisbane with their parents, and with their older brother and sister who could come and visit as well!

Many friends have been and still are supporting this family in many creative and generous ways! They feel truly blessed. Thank you for being part of this blessing!
